I finally resurrected my KZ1300 barn find and I have been tuning the carbs this last week. I purchased a FZR1000 fuel pump a couple of years ago as recommended by the Patron saint to all 1300 Paul Bezilla with the intention of using it on the 1300.The issue I'm finding is that I get some weeping with it. I have been having fun(being sarcastic)trying to get these floats to the correct height. I finally got them right (I think)and when I add the fuel pump to the mix it seems like it just pushes too much fuel to the carbs. The only way I see the pump being a viable option if you set your float height way below the manual recommendation.I would really like to get it to work and it really does make the bike start with ease. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.
