Hi.
The bike got 31000 miles.
The exhaust sistem is the original one.
For the air-injection ,i dont see any pipe or solenoid.

With the air induction system ("Clean Air System" - page 180) disabled the Enrichening system is redundent. Instead of removing 1 enrichening piston/diaphrgam; remove all three. A solid gasket will be required to seal the cover. Remove all 6 pilot (idle) jets and inspect with some magnification. If they appear tarnished.... coated with oxidisation, or look anything less then perfect - replace them. The need for these jets to be in new or as new condition can not be over emphasized!

See if this elliminates or improves your problems.

Please explain,

If removing the Air Induction System makes the Enriching System redundant, then why are the carbs on the EURO Model which is manufactured WITHOUT the Air Induction System still fitted from the factory with the 3 Pistons / Diaphrams ?
