Hello folks,

Are these available anywhere?
(it's the plastic part that sits above the main needle inside the slider piston and held in with the circlip)
I have one with a broken upper slot flange.
M-a-y be repairable, very narrow long self-tapper & washer / spacer to recreate the same amount of clearance, but replacement of course much easier!

May be about to hear this is one of those holy-grail items..?

Partzilla says it's fitted to multiple models up to '82 A4, but I've read elsewhere that a lot of later models have multi-needle slots for adjustment, which this '79 doesn't have, so not too sure about swaps.

It's not repairable ! Best bet is to post a picture and see if someone has an un-serviceable carb that this part can be removed from. Should be the same for all years of carb'd 1300's regardless of needle style (single or 5-slot)

Ah I see the slots are in the (later) needles not the pieces around it.

I've attached a couple of pic's; in the first you can see the 'top flange (lowest in the picture), which slides into the carrier plate, has snapped off.
The second picture just shows (for reference( the foot that holds the needle down in the piston ass'y, with it's offset centre & dimples.

Any spares out there in Z-land??
