Holy smoke !!!, she is purring like a kitten, stem seals are great, no hint of any oil smoke, in fact she goes like a scalded cat :) , just back from the ride, did a couple of hundred kilometres, highway and back roads, had her up to 150kph and down to 40kph in places, pipes are starting to sound good, bit more riding and the "burble" might come louder ;) , she is just great, pulls well up hills, plenty of throttle when you want to pass "tin top drivers"(cars), and leaves Harley riders for dead (as it should be :P ), now just have to get some fingerless gloves to stop the back of my throttle hand getting sunburnt, funny how the rearvison mirror lines up to reflect the sun onto your hands, and all will be well with the world, cheers Pete.

Pete you,ll find that at idle where you ajust the balance of the carbies the slides are still in the down position and our running on the idle jets it not untill you bring the reves up that the slides rise to give the engine more Fuel you flat spot is probable caused by the transition from idle jet to main jet about 2000 revs try turning your mixture screw out 1/2 a ture to richien the mixture and see if your flat spot is less or more prominent.
Cheers Chuck
Hope this Helps
