Recently I've received a surprising number of requests from carb'd guys regarding them wanting to send me their carbs so i can do the Float-bowl Over-flow conversion and/or the single or double Fuel-line conversion.

......and just now received 2 more ! Who'd of thunk !

I'm flattered but the short answer is, "No, thank You"! The details are well documented here and are easily done with simple tools and basic skills.

As much as I enjoy helping and have been responding to (every) a surprising number of personal emails and P.M.'s I feel compelled to re-iterate the following, as I am not responding any longer:

3.5 turns - anything significantly more or less indicates other issues. I don't know what your specific problems are so I can't help with any certainty.

7.5 mm. Details are in the manual and all over the inter-net.

Note that this is for a "traditional" drain for a carb that has a Siamese float, allowing the drain to be inserted in the center of the bowl, extending upward. This will not work on the "1300" carbs.

It will be interesting to see if they "boot-leg" my idea though !
