I have been working on my 13 for most of the summer and have finally started the assembly of the engine.

I have had the head rebuilt with new valves, it was ported and flow matched on a computerized flow bench. The cams will be hard welded and reground with .375 lift and Ross Racing is making custom pistons for me. Cometic Gaskets is making a custom head gasket with the proper fire ring for the big bore pistons.

This is easily one of the most difficult engine builds I have done. With all the major issues resolved, and all the parts either in hand or sourced at this point I can see the end.

I have a build thread for this bike on KZR, but if anyone has and questions or suggestions I figured I would post here as well.

Hi
ive read your build thread on the KZrider forum
very nicely done.
i would do a test on the your VHT paint before you are finished
i painted mine in the same paint and then baked it in the oven. it looked great until i dribbled
a bit of petrol on it, and the paint just disolved and washed off. wont be using that crap again
good luck
