To make a long store short I am building me a luggage rack and back rest with sissy bar for the bike and also to support saddle bags. While checking all the support points I happen to run across the broken tail light bracket. All that was holding the tail light in place was the two 10 mm bolts that go into the rear fender. I post picture of this and the temporary repair. repair pics will follow next day.

Hi Bill,

I built an aluminum luggage rack for my KZ1300.

Is this something like what you're thinking about?
