The only way to do it properly is with a programmabe ecu and a lot of hours road and dyno tuning. Or reprogramming the factory ecu That's if anyone has been smart enough to hack it yet. Like i said before rising rate rubbish is a band aid not a solution and fuel mixtures will be all over the shop dyno tuning is never the entire solution to a good tune. ANd last of all The majority of tuners are dodgy they throw it on a dyno tune the wide open throttle areas get you a silly figure with no load and send you on your way.


Well that's quite a sweeping generalisation, do you have hard proof of the accusation that "the majority of tuners are dodgy"? Or the adjustable fuel pressure regulators sold by respected tuning companies with years of experience is "rising rate rubbish"? You're not one of those conspiracy theorists are you lol?

I have seen for myself the damage done by dodgy tunes and rising rate rubbish as a substitute.
In this scenario The rising rate fuel reg is being used to add more or less fuel to compensate and is incapable of producing the right amounts where and when it's needed it is that simple .If a rising rate fuel reg is used in conjunction with a proper tune On lets say an engine that needs more fuel then the factory injectors are capable of supplying at the standard pressure It would be ok.But like i said before it is not a substitute for a tune it's a just dodgy way to go about it . Go and ask a reputable tuner that has been around for more then 5 seconds his opinion.I have told you mine but you obviously think you know better and I have no more time for ignorance go and educate yourself on the subject.

Just a small update.

Got the Lathe running again, New motor!

Also got a new machine for the garage. A 3 axis CNC mill!

Found the ninja 250 wiring harness I had lying around.

Unfortunately the old ZN1300 harness is extremely dry-rotted due to the bike sitting out in the 119F/ 48C weather here in the Las Vegas desert.

I picked up some original KZ1300 Carbs and will be using them in the mean time.

I will be keeping the throttle bodies/injectors for the future if I decide to spend 600-900 on a Mega squirt system.

Did you educate yourself No. DId you supply a log with wide band 02 readings on a street ride No.Go get your own proof I know I am right and you obviously can't comprehend what i am saying and need proof so go get it.Or as i said call a decent tuner and not a 1/4 mile cowboy and ask him I bet his first response will be laughter .But Because your so ignorant I am betting you do none of the above mentioned and you'll come back with more stupidity.
