Seat assembly

I've been seeing alot of great looking custom seats on the site and wanted to see where you guys are sourcing them. I haven't seen anyone talk about them in the forums in the past so I wanted to start a thread :).

My seat is crazy rusted and crunchy underneath and I want to weigh my options against getting a reproduction one. I haven't developed any resources other than z1300.de for a new one so the more options you can put up the better! Thanks!

Hi Mikez

there is another source, however also in Germany.

I have bought myself a seat with a plastic reproduction one from Wilfried, the guy who also re-made my bike.

Don't know what he quotes actually for a complete seat unit (I assume it will be quite expensive), however you might want to try:

www.kawasakiz1300-der6zylinder.de/

e.g. contact: der6Zylinder@web.de

If any translation englisch-german or vice-versa is required please let me know.

regards,

Holger

PS: Wilfried showed me he has also the required seat-covers looking like the original one, the older one with the fissure on the back and the other one with the kawasai print on it.
