New to the crew. Working on turning KZ1300 Touring into cruiser. Removing aftermarket windjammer fairing, saddle bags, top trunk and hitch assembly. The avatar is my goal, keeping it original....

Best of luck to you. I'm in the same boat as you- got a full Vetter touring package to tear down and clean up. Not easy to do on these bikes (hard to find parts), but it is possible. How's she run?

Hi there ckiwi welcome to the forum. Good to see you intend to keep it standard there are toofew of these great bikes around now and I really hate to see it when someone attempts to do a custom and all but destroys a good bike.

Runs well, needs some TLC as she cuts out without some choke. Will post pictures when i get back - taking some family time before taking on a project i've not done before.
