Hi everyone out there, just joined the group. Bought my KZ
way back in 2003, road it for a year or should say tried to ride it. I have short legs & just tip toe when I have to stop. Dumped my wife off a couple of times, she wasn't happy.
Said she would not ride with me till I got something she could stay onto. Looked for a side car, no luck so I went and bought a 2004 Suzuki VL1500. rolled over 150,000KM last year. Had KZ running till 2009, then put it away in the garage. If I can't find a side car maybe I'll sell it.

Welcome to you Tazman.
What a shame if you decide to sell the KZ1300. Do you like the bike, apart from the tall saddle? Have you considered fitting a modified seat with less depth? It would be interesting to hear your thoughts.
Regards,

Hi Tazman welcome to our little corner of the www.
I know a guy in Nova Scotia who is a BMW and sidecar tragic hard case he may be able to help with finding a chair. I can find out more if you wish. He is at Dartmouth.

Hi & thanks for the reply. Lowering the seat wouldn't be enough, just tip toeing so I need my whole foot length to
keep my feet flat on the earth.LOL Gets hot here in the summer & that engine develops a lot of heat, changed to AMSOIL synthetic which helped a bit. Short runs in traffic it
gets really hot & long runs it's hard on fuel which right now is $135.2 a ltr. If I can find a reasonably priced side
car to attach It would make a nice show bike. Time will tell,
My best Rodney.

Hi & thanks for the reply. Would appreciate any info you could get for me. I forgot to mention I am 76 years old & still biking but my left knee joint is worn out, waiting
a year now for a replacement. Contact eyewillsee@gmail.com
Thanks again, my best Rodney.
