Torque wrench setting
8 years 6 months ago
Hi,
Can anyone confirm the torque settings for the,
Cylinder head nuts
4 bolts (head)
Cam shaft bearing caps
I've noticed on the downloaded manual it states 29 in lbs, for the main cylinder head nuts, that can't be right?? Or I'm reading it wrongly,,,
Cheers Pete.

the 6mm bolts are in/lbs
104 in/lbs = 8.5 Ft/lbs or for those that want to be pedantic its 8.667 ft/lbs

Yep 29ft/lb is correct for the head bolts. Make sure you lube the threads and the underside of the nuts and washers it can make a huge difference. I use Loctite never sieze there and on the exhaust nuts.
