I MAY be able to figure this out. Do you have a photo of what you mean, just be sure we're thinking about the same thing? In the meantime, I'll check my other head- I'm sure I have an extra floating around....

I'm pretty sure this is a kz1300 fan temperature switch. Pulled this photo off the Net.
Item number 26.
