If you're referring to the reed valves on the top of the cylinder head cover and the associated hoses going to the air filter box, yes a few people have removed them and fabricated up blanking plates out of 3/16" or 1/4" thick aluminum plate and installed, then removed the associated hoses and capped off the fitting at the air box.

Easiest way to do it is really just pull all the hoses and cap off the ports- the two on the intake runners can be replaced with a pair of bolts identical to the ports on all the REST of the intakes, and the three large openings (one on the airbox, two on the valve cover) with the appropriate sized rubber caps. Heck, it doesn't even look that bad when you're done.
