So...............
The engine mounts are in the same position on all 1300/6 models, its just the width of the engine casings on the ends of the crank that differ in depth, hence spacers required for later models.

The European Z1300s can be fitted with standard guards.
The ignition model ZG1300 requires wider guards.
Ah yes. I should have anticipated that. When they added the second alternator to the left side for the American models, it made the cover on that side wider. Excellent information!
