Could a rear lifting handle be the chrome piece that contours the seat and tail litgh

No, it's the small black handle a bit less than a foot long that bolts over top of the left rear shock mount. The A1s and A2s had it. I think the A3s switched over to the chrome rail you're thinking of.

I now see the handle,I have one on the 1979(not a parts bike)and none on the 80,81,84 parts bikes.Sorry but I will keep my eyes open at this end for ya

would you be able to ship the DG exhaust to 68005? How much would that run me?
