Do the switches still work? How did the right side get so rough lol?

How much are you asking? And where are you?

SO in order, yes they both are fully functional

Right side has been like this since I bought the bike 2 years ago - I suspect it is original and the left was replaced back when you could still buy the item

Since the right will need finishing, painting and decals I think $50 for a very hard to find item seems fair
The left side is worth twice that IMHO

Hi, I am looking for a Z1300 starter motor, so far, without much success. Does anyone know where I might be able to lay my hands on one, and do you know if starters off other models will fit?
