1981 KZ1300 for sale

16,000 original miles. Bought it last year from long time owner, had been sitting for many years. I have been working on it sporadically. Fuel system was a mess and has been completely sorted. Still needs tires, brakes and cables. I need to sell it to make room, just bought a small collection of bikes that I find more interesting.

Looks like a nice clean ride for somebody in the States. Sorry to hear your heart's fallen in love with something else. Hope it's triples or even a Hercules Wankel.and not CT70's.

Not abandoning this big six banger yet. I put three bikes up for sale, 2 Harleys and this one. I need to sell two. I'm thinking the Harleys will go first as all are reasonably priced. If that's the case, I get to finish this one. One of the new ones is a widowmaker, 500 triple two stroke. Really psyched about that one. A pretty rare Triumph trophy trail 500 and a 1969 Norton commando. I am trying to simplify my life and I'll bet there are less moving parts in the latter mentioned three bikes than in the big Z. Full disclosure, I do have a CT 70

I originally was really taken aback with this 1300 A six cylinder motorcycle with three deuces? Plus. I like my bikes clean and original with low miles. I'm in. I still like this bike but the over engineering has taken it's toll on my simple brain. Discovering the fuel shutoff valve that is located well below the tank and carbs, forcing the fuel to defy gravity made ne think a bit too much. How much fuel do I need in the tank to supply enough head pressure to get the fuel back up o never mind. It doesn't end there, it starts there. I'm used to two cylinders and single carbs and two strokes that are simple. My Triumph Trident is probably as complicated as I want to get. And those Amal carbs are so simple...

Now bring on that triple two stroke
