Markland Backrest was created by samchar12
I am in the process of putting a 1988 ZN1300 back together and wanted to know if anyone had any information on how to mount the markland backrest?
I have a pretty good idea where it goes, but wanted to see if there were any instructions out there so I know if I need any new bolts or anything.
Thanks.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHello Sam:
It should mount to the tail end of the frame, and to the top two shock mounts. (you'll need to remove the tail piece to see those two mount points on the frame.
Is this the backrest in question:
If you could attach a photo, it would help.
Regards.

That is where I thought the mounts went. The entire rear section is off so the frame is readily accessible.
Mine is similar, but the padded section is larger and the arms have a pleather cover on them. It is also adjustable front and rear. I will try and get a couple of pictures if I can remember.

My first thread is probably wrong, assuming we are talking about a Drivers backrest.
