Taking display/instrument off the tank of the ZN 1300

Whats the problem with the clutch? I fitted a standard OEM one and it works fine but needed old style Castrol GTX oil as the silicone stuff just made the plates slip like crazy. There are seats on ebay btw. I paid £180 to have mine recovered.
