Thank you! When time comes, but 10 pounds is not a huge difference, and shipping would be separate too... so not big savings there in the big scheme of things.
For me, the grab bar is not just for visuals, passenger or the rear plastic protection, be it as superficial as you think it is.
Traveling alone, it would be very handy to have it to strap a bag to it.

Hi Stan, sometime back i have made one my self because of the price to by was high, no dimensions available but the process was fairly simple. here some pictures.

No worries Stan, your question just reminded me of what I'd bought so thought I'd throw it out there.
Certainly agree with you guys re the shipping, I guess would be best if you could get a batch together, ship to one of you in a country / state that's cheapest from europe, then redistribute from there at whatever is the best internal shipping rate.

1999 K1200LT - now sold, I like them however was nearly as big as my X5 but no faster.

Stainless steel pipe. Got the pipe bender at home so i thought why not to do it my self. The biggest problem was, the brackets under the seat, basically to get them to fit properly because there is very little space to deal with.
