Cam chain tension
1 day 4 hours ago
After about a 2 year hiatus I'm back finishing the valve adjustment. At the start of this work I pulled the head to check valves and changed the 2 plastic cam chain gears with the steel ones. My question is should the cam chain running over the camshaft be quite tight? Thanks

Yes. There should be no "slack" in the chain between the cam-shaft sprockets.

Thank you, I'm pretty sure I followed the book when assembling it but like i said after a 2 year away period I sort of forget what I did. I hope to get the 2 valve shims soon and get the engine back together end fired up.
