Crankshaft primary drive timing mark
2 weeks 2 days ago
Can anyone point me in the right direction asa where on the crankshaft this mark is? According to the service manual it should be on the side of the drive cog on the crank, but ive checked the new crank and the origional damaged one and there are no marks on either.

Hi Burto,
This timing mark as pictured by KAWABCN (thank you) is REALLY tiny and you may need a magnifying glass to see it. Think of it as a pimple on an elephant's ass. As I remember it, the timing mark is at top dead center when crank throws 3 and 4 are at roughly bottom dead center AS I remember it from just timing the secondary shaft about a month ago.
