Sorry Stan,
I didn't spot the ring size and wasn't aware they did a standard set - I'll get my coat!

The manual quotes 62mm bore for A1 models, don't know if that varied for later versions.

1999 K1200LT - now sold, I like them however was nearly as big as my X5 but no faster.

I've used a different aftermarket set way more expensive then these. If they are good, it would be an affordable purchase!
I have bought these about two weeks ago. Not yet received as they come from Japan. Once I have I'll let you know if you can tell me how to distinguish good ones from bad ones - other than they don't fit

Cruzinimage has offered 64mm overbore piston ring kits for the KZ1300 for several years that I know of and a few of our members have installed the 64 mm option and I have yet to hear of any issues. I would think their 62 mm rings would be fine as well.

I have a set from Cruzinimage in front of me. They are a real bargain comparing to those I purchased and installed on my bike - 60 USD + 20 shipping versus USD 217 + shipping (can't see now how much). Good to hear Kawboy the good reviews BUT, there is a difference between these two if I remember it correctly.
Normally, the top ring is 'chrome', the second down regular. In the expensive set there was a correct marking and visual difference (I think marked 'L' and 'R'?).
In the Cruzinimage set both top rings are marked the same 'R' and visually identical. Maybe they work just fine, but over time that top ring contribute to oil consumption?

Grr....
After asking twice, I have had to cancel my piston ring and gasket set order from Cruzinimage as they are simply not responding to me. Money taken, but items not sent and no communication.
NOT happy!!
Back to square on on that one... suggestions welcome.
