Ticking Noise

Mine has always done it when up to operating temp., a slight tick

My motor ticks lightly on the right hand side for 10-20 seconds after a cold start but it goes away quickly. I assume its slightly dry of oil until it gets pumped up to the top of the valve covers. Other than that it sounds smooth and quiet. Even the clutch is quiet on this one.

Check down under the engine someone may have left a package in plain wraping. :whistle:

I wondered how long before someone would mention that!!

So I have put a video together so you guys can hear the sound I am talking about. Thought I should mention there is a dog barking in the background during the video, just in case anybody was wondering.

We start on the right hand side and move over to the LHS and then back again to the RHS. My ears tell me the ticking is way more pronounced on the RHS.

couldnt hear the dog because of that tapping.

sounds to me like its could be missing, how is the compression on the right hand side ?
