Thanks, found some on ebay, £9 for 100 gram tube...Thats for grey , do I need the white for head gasket, its a bit dearer?

So the threebond site says the white is used for head gaskets and it doesn't say anything about head gaskets on the guide for the grey. Why would you consider using the grey? If the head gasket leaks, you can't "just " pull it apart and reseal. Head gaskets are a one shot deal. If it leaks, you're buying a new gasket.

I found the grey on UK ebay but the white is in Australia, I don't need it tomorrow though so no problem.

Try BMW they use it on just about every surface as many of the faces dont use gaskets.
