Hazards only flash on one side
10 years 6 months ago - 10 years 6 months ago
My hazard lights were working fine until yesterday. I remounted my fairing and then did my ops check of the lights.Every thing works except the hazards. Only flashing on the left. I did some trouble shooting by swapping the flasher relay and also checking the connection. Have any of you run into this issue ?

did you make sure the grd wire was put back on the turn signal mounting arm that might be the cause for the light to stop working?

Grid wire ? Not sure what you mean there. But the lights illuminate and signals work at least. Any one else care to chime in?

He's referring to the ground connection at each light.
So You're saying the bulbs illuminate but won't flash?

looking at the hazard warning circuit on page 256 it looks like if one side is working then it must be the switch or the wiring from the switch to the side which isn't working.
It's unusual for the remaining side to flash on an old bi0metal can because they expect the load of all 4 bulbs.

The issue started when I re tie wrapped the wire bundle in the front as the factory did. Probably pinched a wire ? I'll look at it in the winter,But thank you all for your input
