Honda AW82 coil fitment

I re fitted my 1980 KZ1300 with the AW82 coils a few years ago and the bike ran well with them. I then removed the head and did some work. I am now re installing the coils and the RH one, for cyl 1 and 6 wont fit due to hitting the upper radiator hose. I don't recall this being an issue when doing the initial install but then it was about 7 or 8 years ago.  Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong. Is it possible to put the top rad hose on wrong? Thanks

I learned a little trick today while putting my coils back on. It's way easier to put the right coil on before the left. I know it sounds weird but it works for me. If you put the right coil on first, you can kind of rotate the studs in from the left side. Also having the air chambers off really helps. 

Also right coil is supposed to be for #2 &5, top /center is for 1 &6. Guess it really doesn't matter as long as you get the primary wires plugged into the correct coil.
