No more Li batteries for me
3 weeks 3 days ago
I won't be purchasing anymore Li batteries. This one was working fine, but needed a charge. Put it on a nice Li charger. In the shop. Next morning, found this, and it was blazing hot. Happy it didn't catch fire.

Re: No more Li batteries for me
2 weeks 6 days agoYes. The Li's were an experiment for my Yamaha FJR's. They carry the battery was up high, as in top of the gas tank elevation high. Was hoping lighter Li weight would help with the top heaviness feeling. Alas, the Li's performed miserably on the FJR's so have been using them for stupid stuff like weed sprayers and what not.^This.Time for an AGM battery?
My batter of choice? Yuasa AGM.
