Coil heatup was created by Mikez
Hi again everyone!
Quick question...
Does anyone know if the AW-82 coils we swap into our bikes heat up on their own under normal operation?
Was considering putting insulation around my coils to keep them away from any engine heat. Was thinking that since the old coils we had generally baked themselves sitting over our motors like they tend to do, some insulation couldn't hurt. If the coils produce their own heat, however, that might be doing more harm than good.
Anyone care to weigh in? Thanks!

Never had this problem yet over here in the UK, but you obviously get hotter weather over there in the USA.
I would just leave them where they are personally.
