Hi anyone got any spare ignition pickup coils or know of any of other bikes that would work? Lost cyls 2&5 and that pick up coil is open circuit

Had one stop working on my '80, just off warranty. Went to a bike salvage-yard and took one from a similar year (different model) Kaw. Been working fine ever since. I see a few on eBay.

Cheers for that Scotch never gave it a thought. Picked up some Z1100 ones that look identical. Fingers crossed this will sort my problem

I've been unsuccessful searching for salvage yards around Vancouver. Does anyone one know of any, or are they only in the interior or South the border?

Company Ignitech in the Chech Republic makes sensors that are a match for the A4, I recall it was the P6 type. Go to the webpage Ignitech.cz and change to English, then accessories - pickups.
They are nicely priced too. Electrical info and dimensional drawing there too.

I have found out that the pick ups of a Z1100 shaft are identical to early Z1300s, just in case you didn't know. Am now back on 6 cyls again or at least I was till I started changing the sump to the bigger one
