Trip meter reset knob

Hi
Can some knowledgeable person tell me how to remove the reset so I can oil the speedo internals and try to stop the noise I am getting, I cannot see a grub screw holding it in place, and I don’t want to wreck it or the speedo internals by getting the method wrong

from memory i think you keep turning it clockwise and it should unscrew

Yes, turn it the other way and it will unsrew

Thanks guys all sorted now, the speedo was making some strange noises, so after cleaning the cogs with electrical contact cleaner I have given it a drop or two of clock oil
