Hi
i have found a hairline crack in one of my dyna coils where the ht lead connects, i have a couple of questions which may sound daft firstly is a crack in that location liable to be an issue, secondly is are 3 ohm dyna coils pretty much the same, reason i ask is i brought a second hand one off ebay which looks pristine but has a 1/96 written on it [which may be the date of production] but the one on the bike has 0605-1 written on it,the dims are identical and they are both 3ohm
thanks for any help

Hi Paul
i have standard coils as i cant find the accels i bought years ago hidden in a container
mine where cracked all over the place some of the cracks open 2/3mm
i used Devcon pushing it into the cracks and leaving a small build up on the surface
mine where cracked the length and one was cracked eighty percent around the circumference
they are working great no issues!
