I can say that these new coils did the trick. The bike runs awesome now. I can finally trust the thing again. I was perplexed before because I thought I was dealing with a fuel starvation issue. It would start and run fine but slowly die after it was warmed up like it was running out of gas. After some great advice on this forum I bought these new coils on eBay and am so glad I did. They are direct replacements and not that expensive. And I'm no mechanic. She runs strong now.

Good to hear another success story. Those coils as they warm up start to send the spark everywhere except the spark plug

Zed_thirteen..............do the green dyna coils fit easily to where the originals where or did you need to mount them differently ?

They do fit in the same place as the originals but are a tight fit.
Mine were part of a Dyna 2000 ignition kit so came with some special brackets to go between the square metal core rod of the Dynacoil and the frame fixing holes. I imagine you would have to fabricate some brackets for them.

The ebay item id given is invalid, no result has been sentThanks.....can't make up my mind between them and new Honda coils.
