speaker removal and voltage reading

Good morning, I am working on a 1984 Voyager. How do the speakers come out? I removed the top bolt and tried prying but they will not move. What am I missing? Also the voltage reading does not show on the dash. The lights get brighter when I rev up engine so it is charging. Any help would be appreciated.

Figured it out, the front signal lights have to come out and than there are three wing nuts holding the speakers in.
