A little clarification on ignitions please. It seems 79/80 shared the same setup, 81 and 82 seem to be the same and have more issues than the others. The 79 and 80 seems to be more solid? Are there conversions to a better setup?

Are the ignitions basically the same from 83 on?

Hi for info, the 81 is not the same as the 82 The 81 was the A3 and the 82 an A4, Might look similar but they are not. Have just sold an 81 ignitor they are hard to get hold of.

17 years a Z13 owner at present 3 x A1's and an A4

So the 82 is by itself, or the same from 82 on?
