Hi guys
has anyone used the partzilla.com site for parts, they seem to list as available lots of stuff that is normally hard to get, I am working on the analogy that if it seems to good to be true it probably is
thanks

With alot of these parts sites it's sometimes a good idea to email ahead before placing an order. Especially if you're well aware that it's not an easy to locate part. I've encountered more than once on these sites like Ronayers, partzilla, cmsnl etc. etc. that they do not update their inventory online as often as they should if at all.
This means that you could potentially place an order that winds up getting refunded once they come back and say that they don't have that part anymore.

Try locating multiple parts sites as well. It's always possible that the part you need is sitting in a warehouse somewhere. I find that entering in the part number into a google or bing search will return a decent number of results and parts sites. Make sure to enter it in with and then without dashes.
If all else fails there's always ebay lol.

Yes, i've used them some. They are accurate in parts descriptions and fast delivery, but pricey. If you want OEM carbs, shocks, etc be prepared for sticker shock

agreed but I was looking at some collector boxes and although not cheap would still be a bargain although I have no reply yet to confirm they actually have them
