Advice

Hello all,
I am after some further advice. I am after some rear shocks for my A4, any suggestions for brands etc.
Also I am trying to find some air ducts that run between the air box and the rear of the carburettor. MCG Z1300.de are supposed to offer manufactured items, but I am having issues getting on their web site, the page refuses to load and when it does it displays as programming text. I have sent them an e-mail and am awaiting a reply.
Am I the only one having this problem with their website. Does anyone else have the name of a provider of these ducts.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Torque
I used to buy KONI shocks which are now known under the brand IKON, they looks very similar to the original ones.
Others I know have used HAGON products and are also satisfied, however the optics are not as close as the IKON ones.
Let me know if you need more info.
regards
Holger

Hagon are good. I have a Hagon on one of my BMWs and it is excellent.
Be very wary of the IKON brand they have stopped making the KONI patterns and are now making their own designs and I have seen several snap the shaft righ at the top and collapse, It has been happening now for about 3 years and all they do is replace them under warranty but they have not fixed the design fault and with the 3 that I have seen myself each was told "gee we haven't seen that happen before" so they know and are denying it.
Works performance are a good mid range shock if they make one for a 13

Hi
I've used Hagons on my other bikes, and have been pleased with the product.
Only last week I ordered a set of Hagon shocks for my A1: I phoned and asked them if they would make a set as close to original finish for an early A1; in my case black springs on a black body, with polished alloy adjusters etc. They said no problem, and just charged me for the standard set of classic shocks: well impressed. Can recommend.
Cheers Tim

Hi
I am using Hagon shocks on both my bikes. They're good quality.....no problems at all.

I just saw a set on Ebay. They are used and are in Idaho. Search KZ 1300 Intake Manifolds and you should see them.
