back from France ...
1 day 1 hour ago
Hi guy,
Last weekend I had the pleasure to be the guest of the Z1300 Club de France during their 30th meeting which took place in the very west of France close to Switzerland.A very well organized rally in an area with a fantastic landscape made for motorcycling, if only the weather wold have been kind to us. See yourself:
Despite harsh weather conditions our hosts had managed to set-up an interesting program as well as an excellent experience of the French cuisine- well done. My respect to those who did not refrain frmo moving the bike at around 1° C, I myself have to admit I took the car to get there (first time in 32 years, hope I don't have to do this again)
One thing always sticks out to me in France and that are the bikes created by Godier genoud and their typical long-distance racing outfit, here a rare example (only two were made in this color-scheme):
Godier & Genoud used to be a racing team before they went into motorcycle "production", if you want to now more check out the French oder German Wikipedia for additional background information.
All the best and good to be warm again
Holger

Brrrr. And you were smart to take the car. Interesting bike... but not my cup of tea, to each their own, right?
Thanks for posting, d
PS - Where were all the 1300's? I see a Harley... ??
