DFI ZG1300 uk Price in 1985

Can anyone recall or know where to find the uk price of the ZG1300 in 1985. I know the z1300 a1 at launch in 1979 was £2399 at Hull Kawasaki centre, because I almost bought one in 1979... when I was 18 !

Hi Stiggy,
Don't know if it helps: In 1979 the price for the Z1300 in Germany was at DEM 12068. This relates )today) to EUR 6172. This relates today to GBP 5487.

I myself in 1979 paid $6000 pus tax for a KZ1300 demonstrator ( bike used by the dealer for demo rides)

Not sure what the exchange rate was back then... but $6000 for a demonstrator!!! Was it gold plated.???

that was $6000 Cdn not sure what the list price was however it was close and unfortunately the dealer let me take it for a ride and I bought it on the spot.
