Got the old girl running again

Got the old girl running again after a 5 year lay up (other projects have taken up my time unfortunately). Didn't take a lot, new fuel lines, fuel filter, oil & oil filter change, she fired right up after replacing the old fuel with fresh. Good old fuel injection

Still looking very good Phil and sounds very nice too !
There is still nothing out there comes close to a good Z13.
Should have my own current project finished and up and running this week, if Royal Mail can get shims ordered to arrive...................
Ride safe and stay safe

That looks great Phil. You’ve made many nicely detailed modifications to the bike. I particularly like the instruments, and the widened rear wheel. And the exhaust.
Pete, I’m really looking forward to seeing the results of all your hard work.

Thanks for the comments fellas, I've owned her for 20 years, she was built into her current incarnation about 13 years ago, I enjoyed her for about 8 years then laid her up about 5 years ago because of, as I said, other commitments. The current lockdown gave me the time to re-commission her.
Pete, are you going the custom route this time or stock (ish)?

Hi Phil,
Got a very standard 1980 UK model Z1300 and giving it a good "refresh" and new paint job, so leaving it pretty much standard other than all stainless nuts bolts and washers and Black DFI Paintwork with Gold and Red stripes.
Painted frame and engine and full top end decoke etc..........
I just dont have the time these days to get into "special" or custom projects anymore..........maybe when I retire !!!
Looking forward to riding a 1300 again, if they ever allow us out of the house that is.
Will try to put some pics on here when completed.
Stay safe mate
