the Rally is presently going on in Frankonia which is part of Bavaria. Here an impression:

Always get on great. 3 rd German rally. Have made some really great friends. Even started learning German. Well happy did 1500 miles this weekend fully loaded and 2 up. Superb weekend

To me that is the other thing around the Z1300 - on one hand it is the bike, on the other the people owning it. Meeting those is always entertaining.
some of them are really fascinating.
