Future Transport for us all....................

Just thinking ahead a good few years, when I (we) may not be able to manage the 6 cylinder lump we all know and love, I think I may just have found us a suitable solution ?
Unfortunately I dont think there is room for a 1300 engine, as nowhere to mount the rad !
It should also let the neighbours know I am still alive everytime I start it !!

If you maintained the electrical drive for running in the stores, that would make a hell of an Ice cream hauler !!

Not sure about that future... When I was in Beijing a few years ago I saw all the scooters on the road there were electric. Last year a huge city like Shenzhen made all the taxis and public transport electric. China, one of the most crapped on for pollution and being environmentally unfriendly, already did this. Canada, one of the apparent leaders regarding environment protection, so far is mostly just charging carbon tax, preoccupied with positive image photo opp - that's why I worry old bikes and CBX powered scooters, L0L, might be banned while the Ford F-150 and SUV's will keep ruling the roads for many years. EU and the USA - just hard to tell, but definitely Europe is moving much faster towards electricity.
