Kawasaki Meet Ace Cafe Luzern (Switzerland) - and something on the way back
6 years 6 months ago - 6 years 6 months ago
Hi guys
noticed this event a few day ago. Thought to myself to go if the weather is ok. Weather today went up to 20°C, cloudy - perfekct condition. Told my Government I'll be back and went to Luzern. As expected it was totally overrun, lots of the modern models, yet some "old/ classic bikes there. Noticed another Z1300 from Zurich. Did not take part in their data collection to get a Kawasaki hat in lime-green.

I did not stay long, went home a different way when I suddenly noticed something small, yet familiar on the other side of the road. Turned around and went back to see what it exactly was. Found this (see below).
I wonder if someone with a CBX has lost his life here. The model (all metal) was just sitting there.
Cheers, drive safely.

So was this show a single manufacturer - ie Kawasaki. Is the Ace Cafe a permanent structure . Iv'e been to a few rallies in Washington State where they set up for the week-end in a tent selling souveniers and are gone by Monday
Those RS will be a big seller for Kawasaki - the dealer ship where I sometimes go has sold all of their bikes for this year already.

Yes, the Ace Cafe Luzern is permanent and offers various meets throughout the year, V8's, campers, Corvettes, a tattoo convention ( I am tempted to go).
They already had the Kawasaki meet last year ().
Was a nice ride, saw some snow on the mountains …

PS: No Problems at all with the kill switch, thanks to all your comments through which I need to go in a quite moment
