Way Off Topic - I know!

All the evidence of polishing components by several members recently is making me envious! As I don't presently have facilities to commence restoration of my 1300, one of my recent projects is of a more manageable nature. It is a high quality Kismet foot pump, made in England in the 1940's I believe. An unusual design, it has two cylinders, one inside the other. The spring is of a flat section. Painted with Hammerite Smooth Satin. After replacing the many leather seals within, it works beautifully now. But it is too nice to use! I think I'll just display it near the fireplace!
I hope Bill does not object to me posting this.

How could anyone be upset at your post. Now Stan and Scotch will have to up their game. That's a beautiful thing !! Nice work !! And if anyone gives you grief, it's a tire pump for the mighty KZ. Can't wait to see your polishing act on the bike .
