My improvised bike lift

So I'm mining the old 81 for any available parts before I toss the frame. I have a nice garage but no motorcycle lift but I do have a car hoist.

My lift may never be as safe as yours.

I doubt that it could manage a Six.

Yeah I'm not quite sure that would handle 700+ lbs but its worth a try lol

Pretty scary Bill. My Widow Maker has lower support legs that end underneath of the hook and even then when I pull a big block engine, the rear wheels are bouncing off the ground. I see you managed to snap the picture so that the "counterbalance" was out of the picture. Sneaky.

Hi John,
It's, of course an engine lift, but one that I modified to lift windows. It needs to be able to get right up to the wall. It really makes setting windows on upper floors easy.
