Z1300 Rally 2017 in Germany/ Black Forest

Don't have plans for beginning of September 2017 ? Ever wondered how it feels to see more than 20 (surely even more) Zeds at one place ?

The Rally takes place in the Black Forest in Germany from 1st of September until 3rd of September 2017, at the Naturfreundehaus Sommerecke, see map attached:




If you like some more information (translation of the invitation) please drop a comment and I will translate it. Now I do not expect anyone from the US show up though that would be a nice surprise, but I know there is a lot of guys in the UK that are not afraid of some miles on the road (in that case the Autobahn).

Nice Holger. That would be a scream !! Best of luck with the event. I would have loved to do the event. Maybe if the lottery gods would prevail?? One of these years I pray things will settle down and I can get back to working on the bike. Oh well, enough crying in my Cornflakes.

Dear friends
After a while we will be organizing another Z1300 rally – in the black forest. You are cordially invited, please find as following the important information:

Date : Friday 1st of September 2017 until 03rd of September 2017

What to expect : On Saturyday we will be heading out on a guided tour throughout the Black Forest ; awards (for the longest distance for example) ; participation fee is EUR 5.00 per participant – to be paid locally)

Place : Naturfreundehaus Sommerecke (translates into House of the friends of Nature/ Summer-Corner) close to Wolfach, 800 metres above sea-level (rooms are simple & cheap) or in your tent

Accomodation:
In the „Naturfreundehause“, in twin or multiple-bed rooms or dormitories

Room-booking only directly at the location, first come, first serve

Rate per person is:
EUR 41.00 – room with shower and toilet
EUR 36.00 shower on the floor
EUR 20.00 in your own tent/ campground available
All the above rates include breakfast and dinner
The local town demands a visitors tax of EUR 1.60 per person/day

Schedule :

Friday :
Arrival throughout the day possible, check into rooms from 4pm, dinner until 9pm latest, getting together

Saturday :
8am to 10am : breakfast (buffet), at 10am departure for the tour, return at around 4-5pm, dinner at 7pm

Sunday:
8am to 10am : breakfast (buffet), return to home

OOOh this is definitely tempting. Usually go to Zweitaktertreffen Rheinland-Pfalz in August and hoping to do Benelli week in late September so may be too much but will put on the calender. Let us know of any developments
