Bargain - Unobtanium part I got lucky with :)
8 years 10 months ago
Ive been looking for a genuine A1 grab handle for ages: been thru my usual sources and have just not been able to locate one; also I recently just lost another bid on UK eBay, I was outbid at £75 - $100 USD. I wont pay more than $100 for one :pinch:
Anyway, was ordering some bits form CMS in the Netherlands, for another bike (CBX1000 resto): and low and behold, although Ive checked with them before, this time in stock was a genuine OEM Z13 A1 Grab Handle in its original wrapping with correct Kawa label: mine for £36 / approx $50 USD
Long time since I bagged a real bargain

Congratulations. Those are really made from unobtanium, mine had been a gift from a guy who could put the bike on the main-stand withpout it.
I was a bit shocked to see the price.
Lare, are you reading this - that could be an opportunity for oyu to make some money and the community to get stuff like this for more realsitic pricing ?!

Hi,
One of our friends in Finland just bought 4 KZ1300s and will be restoring a few of them to better than original condition. He has made a series of the horn covers for A1 that we have on www.kawasaki1300parts.com
He has been muttering about making a mold for the grab handles for A1-A2, I will let you know how it turns out.
