I'm looking for anyone who owns or knows someone who owns a 1979-1987 Kawasaki KZ1300 that lives in the South Carolina area (preferable around the upstate)? I'm trying to fabricate the tool tray/air cover and would like to take a few measurements. Even if you don't live in SC and would allow me to borrow this part for a day or 2 I'd be more than happy to compensate you for your troubles of removing it and mailing to me.
