Switched on Missus

So after my last road trip that ended with four gems being brought home i was having a chat with the War Dept. She made comment that my ability to count may be a little suspect as i went out for one bike and came back with four, i replied '' l can count well enough to know that you still have more horses than i do bikes'', without hesitation she shot back '' that may be the case, but i don't insist on keeping them all in the house''

Not much i could say to that really, im now under threat of having them used for bra drying hangers ;) Bloody sacrilege. lts all good natured, she has only just realized the new house has french doors instead of a slider for ease of getting bikes in and out, well whats a guy to do! lm waiting for her to figure out that the dormers flooded with natural light are not reading areas. hehehehehe
'They never see you coming, do they Bob''

I'm assuming you have a horse barn?

Seems like it's time for a bike garage! (Gets them out of the house, right?)

This is how the conversation should go. You "Bye love I'm just popping down the hardware shop"
Her "what you getting"
You "Just some ply and roofing iron and a few nails"
Her " What do you need that for"
You " I'm converting half the stables into a garage for the bikes"
Her " Can I give you a hand through the door with the new Z Dear it looks awfull heavy"

End

She lets you keep them IN the house, huh? Holy crap, man, you should be serving her breakfast in bed every morning! Just draw the line with her when she starts up the bikes to use their heat for faster over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder drying!
